My Educational Background
Dr. Cifuni obtained a Master of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University’s School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude, and completed his dental education as well as his specialty training in periodontology at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He then went through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, which was followed by earning a Master of Oral Biology. Everything came full circle when he eventually served as a Clinical Associate Professor at Boston University in the Department of Periodontology.
Today, Dr. Cifuni is an active member of several professional organizations:

My Special Training
Dr. Cifuni has extensive training and experience using painless, minimally invasive lasers to achieve successful clinical outcomes that would typically require much more invasive techniques and extended healing times. This includes being certified in the LANAP technique through the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry.
Through his membership in the Academy of Dental and Medical Anesthesia, he has earned his certification in IV sedation/moderate parenteral sedation, allowing him to keep his patients as comfortable as possible throughout any procedure.
He has completed the Zygomatic and Pterygoid Training program with Vishy Broumand DMD, MD, an esteemed expert in facial reconstructive surgeries and has certification in Full Arch Masters Training for Immediately Loaded Digital Workflows. This enables him to handle more complicated cases while being as thorough, precise, and efficient as possible.
