Get to Know Dr. Caitlin Duggan
Having worked in the field of dentistry for a full decade, Dr. Duggan finds it extremely fulfilling to help patients improve their smiles as well as boost their confidence. Building a strong and trusting relationship with others while getting them excited about their dental care is one of the best parts of practicing dentistry. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Originally from Norwood, MA, Dr. Duggan decided to become a dentist during her high school years after undergoing dental procedures. Due to her incredible experience working with her dentist and gaining confidence from her cosmetic treatments, her interest in the dental field simply increased. Her passion grew even further while interning at a local dentist’s office during her undergraduate years at Holy Cross. Now, she deeply enjoys helping patients improve their perspectives on dentistry, teaching them about their oral health, and enhancing their beautiful smiles.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Duggan started her career in dentistry by graduating from the College of the Holy Cross for her undergraduate degree. Afterward, she studied at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to receive her dental doctorate and then completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program. She then went on to study at the Medical University of South Carolina and earned her certification in various topics, including TMJ disorders and BOTOX for facial aesthetics. She’s also a certified Invisalign provider.
Today, Dr. Duggan remains dedicated to seeking continuing education to refine her skills and expertise. She’s also a proud member of various professional organizations, including:

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
If you don’t find her at the office treating people’s pearly whites, Dr. Duggan is likely spending quality time with her husband and their two children. Whenever she can, she enjoys participating in activities like running, swimming, and playing pickleball. She also likes baking and exploring new places. A cool fact about her: she was born on Christmas Eve!
